By mid afternoon, the slab was dry enough to remove the boxing and walk on ! Things have changed a fair bit over the years, I was surprised how quickly it began to set. We have been keeping it wet to stop the top from drying out too quickly. The longer it takes to dry - the stronger the slab will be. It hit 30 C today and we are expecting the same for the next couple of days, so its important to keep it wet. It takes about a month for the slab to cure completely,

The roof trusses and wall frame timber arrive on Tuesday and John will start erecting the wall frames on Wednesday. Things appear to be moving apace :)
