This group of images is my attempt to duplicate a series of images from a Wikipedia article about the Mandelbrot set. This is image 13 from that series.

I think this image is very close to the version from Wikipedia. The Wikipedia series seems to use fractional iteration counts, since it does not have discrete iteration "bands".
