| For years, Judy has been asking that we visit Lake Tahoe, a place she'd never been. We finally took that trip July 29 - August 2, 2013 and shall we say that she wasn't disappointed. Highlights included our stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, a drive completely around the lake in our rented 2014 Chevy Impala, breakfast at JAX Diner in Truckee, a tram ride to High Camp at Squaw Valley, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, the drive to Reno via Carson City and Virginia City, a ride on the Virginia & Truckee Railroad, a day at the National Automobile Museum in Reno and lots of good eating. |
