| June 11, 2006: A momentous day, when little Mateo (Oranje Sonoran Mateo) comes home to live with Ed. Judy, and Jupiter. Teo is a brave little boy. He hardly fussed when we took him away from his mother, his sister, and surrogate mom Lila (and surrogate dad Bob) who lovingly raised him since his birth on March 4. Mateo and Jupiter hit it off instantly, as we expected they would. Jupiter is a sweet, gentle, boy and although Teo's arrival took Jupiter by surprise, he quickly adapted to having a little pal in the house. We're all exhausted, more than a little humbled, and tremendously grateful to Lila for entrusting this sweet, beautiful, precious puppy to us. |
