Months of planning, and we're finally ready to go. The Pacific Northwest has a kind of magnetic pull for us. We never seem to get enough of it. Last summer, we passed through Redmond, Oregon on our way to British Columbia. (The B.C. ride is another story.) In July 2001, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMWMOA) was having its annual national rally there. A perfect excuse to saddle up "Big Red" and ride back to some of our favorite country!
