Our route along the Columbia River took us through Portland, but we didn't stop there. Instead, we continued west toward Astoria, at the NW tip of Oregon. Just west of Portland we stopped for this view of the Columbia River and the impending storm behind us. Considering the darkness of the approaching clouds, we were happy to keep moving.
