We really did a double-take! This dome is nearly identical to one that served as a Valley National Bank at the corner of Rural Rd. and Apache Blvd. in Tempe, where it later served as the visitor center for Arizona State University. The dome was demolished for (arguably ugly) dorm expansions, but the panels were retained at ASU's surplus yard. The dome has since been re-erected at the Vista del Sol complex at 701 E.
