I recently helped to complete a windmill project at our museum in Shafter, Calif. 93263. A pioneer family, the Kliewers, donated the Aer,otor windmill to the museum in 1982. We finally received enough parts and labor to assemble the B602 10 ft.fan - 30 ft. tower, and raise it onto the angle supports that were placed there over 30 years ago. At 64 old, I'm proud to say I,ve lived to see this majestic landmark up and turning again. Four of our Historical Society members who have worked on the project have passed away before seeing the windmill spin in the wind. In the Lord's timing they will! Dwayne A. postcards3

I remember there being an old wooden blade windmill in Stanton Texas. It was at a convent there in town. But for the life of me I cant find a picture of it. I took ones years ago, before digital so who knows where they are. Can you help?? Thanks, and I readdly enjoyed your camera's eye.
