This image contains four cataloged deep sky objects. The Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635, is just left of and below the center of the image. To the left of the Bubble Nebula is the open star cluster cataloged as M52 and commonly called the October Salt and Pepper Cluster. Top center is the Northern Lagoon Nebula, sometimes called the Brain Nebula, and cataloged as NGC 7538. Finally, on the upper right side is NGC 7510, the Dormouse Cluster, sometimes called the Arrowhead Cluster. Additionally, significant uncataloged red emission nebulosity is seen over much of the right side of the image, along with clouds of dark nebulosity throughout. From Earth, these four objects lie in the direction of the northern constellation Cassiopeia.
Photographed with an ASI071MC Pro camera and a William Optics FluoroStar 91 telescope at 432 mm, f/4.7.
