Wet Paint

casa de sands

Hard to believe we have been in this home now for almost three years. It dawned on me this morning as I sipped coffee and looked out our windows at the big willow tree sprouting leaves way too early for the third year in a row. I guess I mark my time here with the seasons of this awesome tree.

Next to the window was a smudge on the wall that has been driving me crazy. Three years brings wear tear and "life moments" taking its toll on this place. I don't like painting, but I hate dirt and anything askew. My OCD is uncontrollable sometimes so I go to "clean it" with no results. So down to the basement for paint and a brush to touch it up. Then theres a few more spots., Then a few more and another, oh- over there. Squirrel..... Clean my brush and decide to grab another color and touch up another rooms imperfections, then another and finally, another.

Insanity at it's absolute finest. But, damn if it doesn't look new again.
