Yeah, apple got me to cough up the coin for an Apple Watch, as well as my wife. Justifiable? No but the fact is we are living in a Apple ecosystem at our home. While some ordered day one because next to Jesus Christ, Steve Jobs legacy is a must have and others swear it's dumb and a useless gadget. I think I fall somewhere in-between the hype and hate.

In the five days I have had it, I can say I went from why did I do this to now using my phone less and less and letting the watch give me the glances of data and information I want to see. Less time swiping and playing and more time involved with whats going on in front of me; life...

Today I used apple pay three times. No wallet, no phone and just paying onto my linked AMEX card. That alone is worth the price of admission. Time will tell if my impression is right but I see it gaining popularity as the months pass. The weather app's are killer and I see Nikon/Canon and GoPro all having app's soon for remote shutter release from this device. It's got some really cool potential thats yet to be harnessed.
