SnowPro White Edition

Rocky River Reservation

Some months ago, on a whim I bought a GoPro Hero/Black edition and have used it for some on again, off again shots. Whats amazing about it is it size, durability and unique mounts that I have for it. It has a purpose in my life but I haven't spent enough time developing it yet.

Like the perpetual 9 year old looking outside all day at the blowing and falling snow I was excited to be out "in" it. 5 PM hit and my evening was free of obligations other than going in search of the elusive photo a day. Yesterday was easy, everyone is fresh and excited from wrapping up a previous year project. Everyone is like "sure, lets do it again". I woke saying to myself "holy shit, you have 364 more days of this". Very much like a diet or committing to the gym- it takes commitment. Anyhow thats a whole other PaD/conversation so I jumped in the truck, gassed up and headed for the Rocky River Reservation. Light was fading fast when I dropped in and weather conditions were less than ideal to be stomping around in knee deep snow.

Enter the GoPro, aka SnowPro. I shot some great video and played around with some settings, did some burst shots along with really seeing what this thing can produce. I liked this one. Motion frozen in time along with the cold temperature to capture one of my favorite stretches of road be it in truck, harley or bicycle…

I like the ribbon of road and the snow all around! It does look like a nice place for a drive... the kind where you want to enjoy the road.

@ Ron, for the Bike- awesome… I have a video on FB from my mounts on the Harley. Yeah- for the $ and the quality/unique shots you can get- it's a good investment…

I've been going back and forth on getting a gopro.....so tempting, so much potential, fun....you're not helping....digging the motion in this one.
