Another Athearn model of the same genre as the 844. However, this one does not have the sound decoder that is anywhere near the quality of the 844. I will have to yank this one out and replace it with a SoundTraxx Tsunami. Like you David, I want one with the deep "river boat" horn. Another project for the future.

I know what everyone is thinking. What is it with that trackwork?? I had to go out and take a look at it myself. There is a "slight" change of grade where the track passes from one piece of homasote to another but it is VERY gradual. I am assuming that what we are seeing is an "artifact" of the use of a telephone zoom lens. I assure you, better yet come see for yourself, the trackwork is not that vertical :-).
