"Learning to listen" CAR goes Vrroom Vrroom Beeep Beeep !!

It is one of her Audio Verbal Therapy sounds that we work on with her. The rooster (cock-a-doodle-do) is in the background.

The AVT therapy is based on teaching hearing impaired (deaf) kids to use their residual hearing to recognize, and pay attention to sounds.

There is a difference between "hearing" and "listening", and constant reinforcemnt (even at her young age) will help her develop normal speech and language. (Hopefully).
