Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, she is a daughter of the Mexican Revolution. Her father (my great grandfather), Hilario Estrada, was a colonel in Pancho Villa's army. Her uncle, General Enrique Estrada was part of an effort to restart the revolution in the 1920's but got stopped by the Americans, ending up in an American prison for a while.
