I photographed these minute insect eggs hatching in a Gladioli flower - it was only later when trying to photograph the cases that I realised one had not survived

Still trying to figure this one out: is the bug halfway out the one that didn't make it? Or is that a predator who is eating one that didn't make it? They are such amazingly delicate little things.
