Rob, great colours and interesting textures here, although the shade robs the flower of its true potential to shine. The lighting is really back to front and would work better if the flower was in direct light and the background was more in the shade. The bokeh is ok, but it would be better if it was more OOF through use of a wider aperture and backing up to use a longer zoom for a lower apparent DOF (recognising that the real DOF for the same framing of the flower would technically not change; it would just seem shallower because the background elements would appear larger and less sharp; also, a longer zoom may mean a narrower max aperture, which may counteract the smaller DOF effect to some degree). Given the theme of textures, I would also favour a composition where the flower with its textures takes up more of the frame for a more dominant result. that said, the positioning of the centre of the flower where it is at lower left works ok.
