My favorite butcher - Jesi's version

Well, I thought I would give this whole tweak it thing a try. I just adjusted to get the look I wanted, so I apologize if my descriptions of what I did aren't that good ;)

1)Adjusted levels to bring out a little more contrast in the photo
2)Selected the butcher and block and adjusted hue and saturation for a sepia sort of tone
3)Adjusted shadow and highlight on the selection to lighten it
4)Selected background and desaturated
4)Applied a film grain filter to the background and tried to match the noise in the foreground to give it some consistency

I actually thought that the hussle and bustle in the background was an important part of the picture, and I didn't want to lose it entirely, just make it stand out less than the butcher. Unfortunately in the conversion I lost a lot of the motion of the knife...I am still learning Photoshop :D
