Flowers about 1/4" each & Stalk LESS than1/8" in diameter

Admittedly this image has noise @ ultra high ISO. The Canon 7DII (crop body) does not handle noise as well as my Canon full frame 1Dx. Because this was a hand held shot, it needed the high ISO to get enough light. I did what worked. The Sigma 150mm lens is also quite heavy for a macro lens (2 1/2 pounds for just the lens) & that also required a higher ISO to keep my speed up enough to hand hold. I pushed this shooting situation to its limits. More DOF would have been desirable.

Meanwhile, EC was very much needed for the tight macro work. It worked.

Terrific exposure, Liz. The (+) EC was a good choice. And the bit of noise/graininess works just fine with this plant IMO. Lovely colors and nicely done DOF as well.
