"I Left My Heart in San Francisco"

San Francisco, CA

Definitely another San Francisco icon - the painted hearts found all over the City, in reminiscence
of Tony Bennett's song "I Left My Heart In San Francisco."
Other cities have painted cows, or horses, or bears. . . . San Francisco has painted hearts.
This one was found in the lobby of the Kaiser Hospital on Geary Blvd.

Difficult shot to get, but you did a nice job. And yes, everyone does think of the old Tony Bennett song when they think of San Francisco.

Nice that the city has adopted a popular song for so many icons. I noticed the other day that West Virginia has a John Denver song as its state song.
