The seagull is an icon of where I live. People drive hundreds of miles to see them and spend time on the beach.

This is a really nice capture, Dale. Love the pose and his being at water's edge. The waves at his feet really add to the image. Yes, when I think of Florida, I do think of Seagulls.

Beautiful shot of the gull and the water behind it. I really like that it is looking out towards the water so you get the full bird in the shot.

Looks like a not fully mature Laughing Gull. I love how you've shot him at water's edge. Nice and crisp, great exposure and detail, and the splash of water adds nicely as you said.
