I was out at Viera Wetlands this morning and saw these two Great Blue Herons.
I am 90% sure that the one on the right is a "baby" / juvenile.
The bigger one would pick up a small stick, then the smaller one would take the other end of the stick.
The larger one would drop their end, then after a second or so the smaller one would drop their end.
This went on for about 5 minutes, until a flock of vultures appeared overhead.
They both stopped to watch the vultures and then went back to their stick.
