Love his expression and blue eyes. Looks like a gentle furry guy.

What a gorgeous dog (husky, I assume). I like the one hand in the shot (the one on the left), but not the finger (thumb?) on the right. If it were only the hand on the left, it would look like the owner was cradling the dog's head. But the arm and the finger on the right, to me, are distracting. That being said, I like the look on the dog's face, the bright blue eyes and that all of him is in focus. You did crop off some of his ear, but that doesn't really bother me all that much.

I find the hands and part of an arm a bit disrupting in this "Fill the Frame" shot. They take away from the main subject; which I assume is the dog's face. However, your exposure and DOF are both good.
