Barrel Cactus Blooms

These usually bloom between April through September. This fish-hooked Barrel cactus was a late bloomer.

I love the colors in this. The green, orange, pink and brown all work well together. Nice catch!

Since this isn't normally an October blooming plant, it may be stretching the October theme a little.
However it's a gorgeous cactus flower. Love the tones. The orange is Octoberish. So I guess that is close enough. Beautifully shot. Nicely composed.
