Acorn

October is known for acorns. They are falling all over my yard and driveway. This one, however, fell into my hydrangea bush and got caught by the leaves, making a much prettier background than cement or grass.

Good catch (no pun intended). I like that it's so crisp you can see the pollen (or the texture, not sure which) on the outside of the acorn and the veins in the leaves.

His little hat fell off! I don't believe I've ever seen on that
looked kind of furry. Lovely contrast.
