Fountain Grass

Fountain Grass (Pennisetum setaceum)native to Africa and related to Buffel grass, another problematic invasive species in the Sonoran desert as it provides hot fuel for fires. They are 2-3 feet tall with pink and purple bottle brush flowers on top which I enjoy watching blow back and forth in the wind. I also love the glow of the morning light.

I love the composition . It is a very interesting shot and clearly see the pinkish purple bottle brush flower. The light definitely made this photo stand out.
