Although I was traveling earlier this month, one of my October adventures has been right here at home.
For our city, a chance to be part in the World Series doesn't happen very often.
It's been fun for me to get out and about locally and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Here, the City has turned the fountains blue in honor of the hometown team: the Kansas City Royals.
The City is also selling blue water from this fountain for $5 a bottle.
No, I didn't buy any... However, the money goes to maintain the city's aging fountains.
