Cathedral reflection

St Petersburg, Russian Federation

I shot this about ten years ago. My challenge has always been to get rid of some of the urban clutter - chiefly power lines - and also concentrate attention on the cathedral. Have I done that?

I'm the odd person out...I LOVE the white vignette. It makes it kind of dreamy and soft. V

I like the vignetting, just a bit less "abrupt" as Walt says. Just for fun, I think this image might look nice with a slight sepia tone... It would tone down the bright white vignette and bright blue sky which also draws my attention away from the subject a bit.

I agree with Clay & Walt - lose the vignette. The rest of the picture looks nice, though.

In my eyes and mind, the vignetting is too abrupt. Can you smooth it out a bit? The urban clutter is not distracting in this shot.

I like the symmetry with the reflection but I am not liking the strong white vignette. It also appears to me that the reflection is more saturated and has better contrast than the actual building. The building almost looks like it is foggy outside (a haze).
