Those of you familiar with Boise will recognize this local landmark. Several years ago the Simplot family gave their home to the State of Idaho as a prospective mansion for our state's governor. However, the home is relatively small and has other limitations, and has never been used as a residence. There are a few special events held there from time-to-time. The size of the hill on which it sits makes it a prime target for wintertime sledding when there is snow availalbe, such as there is now. I caught this fall combination of sunset and mist, and decided to make a black-and-white version out of it.
