The first thing I did was level the horizon.

Then, I cropped to minimize the background but keep the boats. However, those background boats seem disjointed with their masts rising into nowhere. Not good.

After that, it was merely playing around with curves and levels. Nothing super fancy. No sharpening.
I tried to keep image integrity while spotlighting the boat in the foreground. However, I'm not thrilled with my edit of the image.

So I went on to try another...

This beat your other two similar scene 'cos the pier leads the eye not only to the immediate boat but further to the others. Too close cropping without the background leaves the viewer somewhat hanging. Nice editing.
