The chairs.

The only styles we liked in our price range (~$160 ea)
came with some type of stamped pattern on the seat back. Our
choices included lighthouses, cowboys on bucking horses,
a hunter and his dog and a few others. The one we picked
was the only one that seemed remotely appropriate for a
kitchen. (I asked, but you can't get a seat back without
a stamped pattern.) The seats swivel and we picked the
micro-fiber seat cushion. Comfortable to sit in, but the
thin bar to put your feet on is a little uncomfortable
in socks. So if you're coming for breakfast, wear shoes. ;)

They did have a pattern with a rocket, stars and Saturn. As for walking far to get a snack, we don't have a tv in the living room. It's in the kitchen, near where our fridge used to be. For breakfast, I have to go to the cabinet to get a bowl, then to the living room to get some milk. Then I go back to the kitchen where the fridge used to be to change the channel (and get a spoon which I always forget when getting the bowl). If I want to see if I have a new magazine to read at breakfast, I go to the front door and move my stove out of the way so I can get to the mail slot. It's been a lot of fun, but we're ready for a floor too. :)

pretty chairs but i think the bucking broncs would have been nice too.
Can't wait for a floor to be in but at least you don't have to walk far to get a snack if you're watching TV
