With the tide on the way out, we kept finding dead critters
which hadn't yet been picked up by birds or crabs. The skate
in the photo is missing its tail, and Wes seems to no longer be
afraid of getting his hands a little dirty. When did that happen?

Someone should warn Wes of germs, even if his uncle Chris
is telling him to pick up some dead animal for a photo.
