Well, not its real name: I was walking on Selsley Common, Stroud, which I know well...or I thought I did!
I came across this dip in the limestone landscape that was very quiet, out of the wind and the occasional flurry of dog-walkers.
As I descended into it, I was aware that its shape made a natural amphitheatre, which seemed to heighten and sharpen my senses, making a special moment of the present.
The cowslips, all hidden away yet feeling special and looked at...and making a statement of beauty growing amidst an impossibility of rocks..
...And like so many of us, precious, hidden and taking a journey to meet with and to know, seemingly unseen by people, yet known by God and making a statement of beauty out of impossibility.
