I was really lazy for all these dragonfly shots, using natural light on a windowsill whilst waving a table-lamp around; I then just lowered the contrast in pp and blatted the exposure back up by 2 stops or so. I do quite like the "painterly" quality of the low-contrast image that this produces though, and find it invaluable for landscapes.
