Kody recently graduated to riding a "big boy bike", thats what he calls it. The law was also layed down that a helmet and shoes are needed when on it. Seems that when his mother was a kid a lasting impression was made on her when a cousin who wasn't wearing shoes fell off her bike and a certain adult - ahem- sort of freaked out when she had to clean up the wound, which involved flaps of skin on toes and lots of blood, as recalled by Kody's mother. The other mother - ahem- has no recollection of this incident or the freak out.
