Okay, so maybe thats not their name, but last year I watched this pair of sandhills with their chick in the same location that they again brought their baby out to this year. Only last year they didn't bring the chick out until he was much older than this one is.

As soon as I pulled over they both hustled the chick towards a wooded area and both stayed so the chick was between the two. This year though part of the area is fenced in to keep some cattle contained. They did manage to duck under the fence and walk into the tall grasses where I lost sight of them.
