I was really happy to see a robin return to the same nest platform that yielded baby robins last year. She was on this nest for almost a week. A day or so after I took this I noticed no one was on the nest anymore. I always wonder what happened that fails a nest.

We cleaned the platform out and hopefully she will rebuild and try it again. This time with a happy ending.
