Cormorant rookery

Menominee Park ~ Oshkosh, Wi

Double-crested cormorants have taken up residence on an island in Lake Winnebago. You can see it from the boat landing at the park.

It really does look like a condo. I've seen a blue heron rookery once - boy, was that a noisy place!!
