County W, near New London, WI

A trip into town today scored a sighting of 2 red-tailed hawks. This one took off and headed towards and landed in a tree where another red tail was already perched.

I have yet to see a red-tailed hawk up this close, though there are many of them that circle above the house...this is truly stunning!
