A new vistor to my yard did not stay long. Just by chance I happened to see this new bird by my puddle and was able to get just a few shots before it flew off and I never did see it after that. With help from my shootin' buddy Fisher, she id it as an oven bird. From what I've read on them, they are very illusive so I guess I was lucky to have seen it at all.
