I was certain this pair of redtails was going to mate as I spotted them from the highway. They both perched for a few seconds then flew off.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM
1/640s f/8.0 at 400.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
