This redtail peeks out to see what we are up to. This was between a grocery store and a goodwill store. Among the garbage dumpsters there is this small marshy patch which I'm sure was good hunting for mice.

This is in the same area where the snowy owl was a few months back. A very busy area: strip malls, restaurants, 4 lanes of highway and lots of traffic.

This is also the same place where a pair of redtails nested a few years back and I got some decent shots of the young ones. The nest has since fell apart. Which is maybe a good thing as it is not the greatest place to raise a family!
