You never know who you will run into when you are out and about. We spotted an eagle in a dead tree overlooking the Little Wolf River in Manawa near the ballpark. We shot a few frames of him when he decided to take off.

As he took off I just continued shooting. It wasn't until I looked at these on the computer that I discovered our paths had crossed before..........in 2006!!

A 100% crop revealed that this was an eagle that was banded and released in February of 2006 from The Feather Rehab Center. You can read his story here: Into The Great Wide Open
