Guy Schmickle and I decided to see if we could catch some great Monsoon images at the Grand Canyon on August 1 and August 2, 2013. The chances of precipitation were at 50% which is almost a lock during the Monsoon season because you just have to have storms some places in the Canyon to get some great images. It turned out that we were able to get some of the most incredible images we have ever gotten of the Canyon and indeed some of the best we have ever gotten under any circumstances. Normally, we are happy if we can capture two to three good images a day, but on this day we didn't have enough time to capture all of the images that were available. Other than the fire alarm in our motel going off at two A.M and having to drive home late at night it was truly an excellent adventure. Below are some of the images we were able to capture.
