The Zaca Wildfire in Santa Barbara Caounty which, although it is over 100 miles away, is covering Kern County and Bakersfield with ashes and making for some weird skies. The fire is not supposed to be contained until after Labor Day.
It has already consumed 171,000 acres.
This is taken at 4PM.

Awesome lighting and color. This does give the feeling that something untoward is in mix.
