These pictures were taken at the al-Zunnar Church (Church of the Virgin's Belt; كنيسة أم الزنار), where in 1953 a textile belt was found that was then said to have belonged to the Virgin Mary. The church is used by the Syrian Orthodox Church. Wikipedia has it, "it was built over an an underground church dating back to 50 AD. It is the seat of the Syriac Orthodox archbishopric."
The church itself.
