The Church of the Apostles was being restored when I visited it, and dust was all over the mosaics. I also could not get up close. I post-edited the pictures considerably, both regarding orientation and colour. I am not certain if they are always right. For that reason I show originals as well as edited versions of some shots. The church was discovered by a Father Manfredi in 1902, it dates from 578. It has a nave and two aisles. A central medallion has a personification of the sea, giving a Salman as the man who made the mosaics.
