My heart jumped when I saw the name of this mosque, as I am very, very fond of the two mosques in Istanbul of that name (the third is in ruins). Looking forward to Iznik tiles I climbed the stairs, to find a much different mosque.
With some trouble I found one relevant text, that after translation is: "The mosque in the bazaar is one of the most important structures of Bor. Sokullu Mehmet Pasha was built in 1570 [a notice at the mosque has 1573] by the part of the complex. The mosque, which was repaired twice in 1795 and 1871, maintained its originality to a great extent. There is an arasta under the mosque, which was built as a fevkâni." I think what we see is the 1871 style, not bad, but somewhat poor for a Sokullu Mehmet mosque.
