In Istanbul I noticed during a December 2007 visit the Cevahir mall near the Şişli metro stop. I saw a big inviting box with light streaming out, and crowds of people, it had to be special. But that was on a cold night without a camera. I decided to go there as soon as I could, and that was June 2008. I am not easily impressed but I swear that when I entered the big hall I said “Wow” involuntarily. I show roughly a tour through the building, gradually going up to its roof, then descending to what I thought would be the garage part, but turned out to be a marvel of a children’s fair.
