This is the Rüstem Paşa Bedesten, a covered bazaar built in the 16th century by the Great Vezir who also built the marvellous mosque in Istanbul that I like to return to for its Iznik tiles. No tiles here, just tradesman in fine surroundings. It has two levels and a courtyard, outside its walls a small park with tea garden is emerging.
